Alice was the daughter of Pierre Arthur& Alexina(Leblanc)Leclerc. There were nine children born to them but only six lived to adulthood.Alice's family moved to the Peace River district when she was quite young,so most of her memories were of there. Alice married Len Byrnes and they had five daughters. They lived in Whitehorse, Lacombe, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, and Grovedale.
I remember Grandma always having a cupboard full of toys, playing games by kerosene lanterns, charades, lots of music and sleep-overs with wall to wall cousins!
