My dear Lena and all,
I can't write much I am so sick feel like vomiting any minute. I would not come up here again for another operation. I have groaned every minute. They have to inject stuff in my arm to make me sleep. Such pains all the time just like knives going through me. I wish I was home working. You all keep well so don't have to come up here. I hope I shall be better in a few days. I can't move in bed almost kills. I wish I was home. I am in such pain. You write me, I can't write. I never suffered so in all my life and to keep well. With love to you all, I shall be glad to see you all. Eliza
