Andrew Jackson Tabor (Taber) was the husband of Juliana Belcher Tabor. He was a
farmer in Tazewell Co., VA, but enlisted on October 9, 1862 in Capt. Robert
Taylor's Company of Caldwell's Battalion of Virginia Cavalry. This was later
called Company F of the 16th Virginia Cavalry. Andrew was killed at the
Battlefield of Moorefield, due to a gunshot wound in the lungs. (According to
pension application of his widow in 1888.)
