Mrs and Mrs Powell Bilyeu and sons were called to Algood Saturday by the death of his mother, Mrs Avo Horner Bilyeu. She had been in ill health for the past 2 years, although confined to her bed for the past seven weeks. Funeral services were held Monday at the M E Church South, Algood, with burial in the cemetery at that place.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Rev J P Bilyeu, Algood; 3 sons, Powell, Crossville; Perry, Cookeville; Peyton, Algood; 3 daughters, Mrs Haskell Farris, Fresno, Cal; Mrs L K Morgan, Madison; Mrs J L Brown, Old Hickory; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
