Bruce Garver, who manages this Memorial to Jane M. (Musgrove) Hunter Beeler (1840–1902) and has written this "bio", is a third cousin twice-removed to Hannah Jane (Garver) Hunter (1878–1958), whose husband, George William Hunter (1874-1937), is the youngest son of Jane M. (Musgrove) Hunter (Beeler, 1840–1902) and her first husband Thomas H. Hunter (1806-1880). Hannah Jane (Garver) Hunter's great-grandfather, Samuel Garver, Jr. (1787–1868), is an older brother of Bruce's great-great-great grandfather, Jacob Garver (1794-1868).

Jane M. (Musgrove) Hunter Beeler (1840-1902) during the year 1864 wed (1) Thomas H. Hunter (1806-1880) with whom she had three children. Jane was Thomas H. Hunter's third wife and helped him raise the youngest three of his ten children by his second wife, Clarissa Eliza Jane (Laughlin) Hunter (1809–1874). Four years after Thomas H. Hunter's death at the age of seventy-three on May 21, 1880, Jane M. (Musgrove) Hunter during the year 1884 wed (2) Daniel Joseph "Joe" Beeler, Sr. (1856–1916), the second born of the three sons of Daniel Beeler (1810–1892) and Margaret (Shafer) Beeler (1813–1904). Jane M. (Musgrove) Hunter Beeler and Daniel Joseph "Joe" Beeler, Sr., had no children of their own but together raised "Joe" Beeler's only son, Daniel Joseph Beeler, Jr. (1876–1943) whose mother, Nora (Young) Beeler (1852–1882), had died when he was six years old.

On this Memorial, Bruce Garver has recorded the year 1840 as the birth year of Jane M. (Musgrove) Hunter Beeler (1840-1902) because the year 1840 is incised upon Jane's gravestone (See the fine attached photograph by Frank Flack). Customarily, a date incised upon a gravestone trumps any date provided by cemetery records; but it should be noted that the records of the Greenwood Cemetery Association suggest -- but do not state -- that Jane was born in Ireland no earlier than the year 1838 and no later than 1839 (See the Greenwood Cemetery Association attached immediately below)..
