Mr. Dean died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tyler Watts, Gadsden, Ala. Monday night. A native of Crittenden born and reared in Iron Hill section. He attended public schools in the county and after completion he served as an instructor for several years. Resigning from the system he entered employment of the US weather bureau and for many years served as meteorologist in Lexington, Ky., Lacrosse, Wis., St. Louis, Mo., and Anderson, Ala.
