Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church for Allan O. Juelke, 82, who died Sunday at his home near Long Lake.Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors by Sauk Centre United Veterans Honor Guard.Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church in Sauk Centre.Arrangements were made by Patton-Schad Funeral Service of Sauk Centre.Allan Juelke was born in Oakes, N.D., to Oscar A. and Velna (Johnson) Juelke. He married Lorraine A. Bollbach on June 14, 1947, in Hollywood, Calif. They moved to Delano, where he taught and coached football and baseball. He was in the U.S. Navy Air Corps from 1942 to 1943 and was a decorated veteran. He returned to Delano, and the couple moved to Earlimart, Calif., where he taught for one year. They moved to Sauk Centre in 1956, and he taught and coached many sports. He retired in May 1979.He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Sauk Centre, and Minnesota Coaches Association; and a life member of Star in the West Masonic Lodge 60, Paul F. Donart VFW Post 2853 and American Legion Post 67 of Sauk Centre.Survivors include his wife; daughter and sons, Janice Hester of El Centro, Calif., and James and John of Sauk Centre; sister and brothers, Doris King of Pendleton, Ind., Donald of Tracey, Calif., Connie of Bismarck, N.D., LeRoy and Robert of La Moure, N.D.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
