Robert Juelke, 84, of Fargo, ND formerly of LaMoure, ND, passed away October 12, 2015 at the VA Medical System, Fargo, ND.

Bob was born April 10, 1931 in Oakes, ND. He grew up and attended Oakes Public school before joining the U.S. Army at the age of 15. He was stationed in Germany from 1946 to 1949 in the European Theatre as a tank mechanic. After his discharge, Bob received his draft notice in the mail.

He married Dolly Bockwoldt in June 1956.

Bob worked at the Grand Forks Air Force Base before becoming employed as a Chief of Police in Portland, ND. The couple moved to Oregon, where Bob was working in the lumber mill when he was injured. He attended Eugene Industrial College and received his Associate Degree in electronics. He worked as a technician for Boeing on the Guidance System for the 747.

In the late 1960s they returned to Fargo and Bob worked for the Daveau & Schmidt Music Store. In the early 1970s he formed F-M Electronics, a radio and TV shop on south 8th street in Fargo. His shop was a couple of doors down from the Dutch Maid Grille, which soon became his favorite coffee shop. Bob was known as the best electronics technician in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and was well known and liked by young and old. Bob and Dolly were later divorced.

He married Mariann Jacobson on January 4, 1993. They lived in LaMoure before moving to Fargo in 2006. Bob retired in 1980 due to ill health.

He is survived by his wife Mariann Jacobson; his son, Steve (Mary) Juelke and family, Leah, Juan and Samara Juelke Casaews, Jarred (Geri) Jayden Juelke, Jason (Rachel) Braelyn, Skyler and Jason Juelke; his daughter, Robin (Scott Stumpt) Swiggum and family, Sheena (Paul) Ramireg and Braedon Nelson, Stacey (Nate) and Sophie Jungers, Lexy (Ray) and Raena Littlewind.

He is also survived by Mariann's family, Kevin (Donna) Jacobson and family, Kevin Rodney (Cori) & Julia Jacobson and Jacob Carroll; Kimberly (Vance) Reed, & Colton Jirava, Nick (Cody) Ivy, Tate, Ayden and Creighton Jacobson; Tonya (Josh) Blaine, Rylen & Carter Wald; Alan (Susan) Jacobson and family, Mark, Bethany (Mike) & Alice Kok; Denley (Beverly) Jacobson and family, Philip & Eric Jacobson; and Renee Jacobson (Alan Evans) and family, Silka, Kyra & Torrey Jacobson-Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Velna Juelke, an infant son, his sister Doris, brothers Frances, Allan, Donald, Conrad and LeRoy. Bob was the last of the Oakes Juelke boys.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, LaMoure, ND. His funeral will be Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church, LaMoure. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery near LaMoure.
