After an illness dating back since last July, Mrs. W.D.Bayless passed peacefully away to the great beyond last Sunday at 4 p.m. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Moore pastor of the Christian church on Tuesday at 2 p.m. interment being at the Ball Cemetery. Lucinde E. Palmer was born June 11, 1844, being 67 years 4 months and 17 days old. On November 3, 1865 in Marion County, Iowa she was united in marriage to W.D Bayless. Twelve children were born to this union, nine of which, together with her husband, are left to mourn her departure. Deceased has been a resident for the past eight years with the excepton of about six months residence in Iowa a year ago. She was a good kind hearted christian woman, who was beloved and respected by a large circle of friends. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the husband and children in this their hour of sorrow.
