She was born January 22, 1921 in Otterbein, Indiana to the late William and Marie (Skinkle) Waymire and was a 1939 graduate of Otterbein High School.
Wilma worked for Value Dress Shop in Lafayette before her marriage to Francis E. White on November 17, 1945 in Lafayette; he died December 24, 1999.
Mrs. White was a homemaker. She loved her sons dearly and enjoyed watching the Cubs, Colts and Purdue spports.
Surviving is her son Steve White of Brookston; a sister, Jackie Wood (husband: Mike) of Franklin, IN; a grandson, Jason White and a granddaughter, Brook Stith (husband: Micah) both of Olathe, Kansas. Also surviving are 4 great grandchildren, Paiton, Rori, Bailey and Kohen.
Preceding her in death with her parents and husband are two sons, Tom and Bill White; siblings, Henrietta Waymire, Frank Waymire and Jo-Ann Allbaugh.
Interment to follow in Brookston IOOF Cemetery.
