L. L. BISHOP DIES
Lawrence Leroy Bishop, who was nearly 70 years old, died at his home east of Cassville, Dec 21 after a illness of some weeks.
He was born near Burden, Ill. on Jan 9, 1863, coming to Missouri in 1921. He was married to Catherine Maples and to them were born eight children. They are: Lester and Mrs. Edna Metcalf and Roy all of Oklahoma; Mrs. Alma During of Panama; Merle, Ellis, Scott, who is the service, and Vernie Beeson of Cassville. One brother of California also survives.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and a man who was beloved by his friends and neighbors.
Funeral services are being held today at Oak Ridge, conducted by Rev. Charles Dick and interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery under the direction of Horine - Culver.
