Roy S. Bush Jr. died Friday, August 25, 2000, at a local hospital. He was 74. Mr. Bush was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church and of the Dalewood Lions Club for several years. He was employed by ABB Combustion as a draftsman and engineer.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Bush and Edna Carlton.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Allen Bush; three sons, Myron Bush, Chattanooga, TN, Byron Bush, Harrison, TN, and Roger Bush, Marietta, GA; three daughters, Marilyn McNair, Chattanooga, TN, Gail Reese, Harrison, TN, Cindy Bush, Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, Marvegine Watt, Chattanooga, TN, and Inez Scott, Belle Plain, KS; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Ervin officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th St., Chattanooga, TN 37403
