She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, William Alex Watt; parents, Roy S. (Pearl) Bush Sr.; two sisters, Gladys L. Bush and Edna Carlton; and one brother, Roy S. Bush Jr. Left behind to cherish Marvegine’s memory are her four stepdaughters, Mary Ann Cooper, Whitwell, Susan K. Hall, Ringgold, Ga., Kathy Alexis Middleton, Blanca, Texas, and Judy Lynn Stewart, Cleveland, Tenn.; nine stepgrandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Inez Scott, Derby, Kan.; five nieces; six nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews, and many great-great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of Marvegine’s life will be held in the chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Tuesday Nov. 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Min. Charles Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the East Chapel. She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family wishes to give special thanks to the love and care shown by Dr. Matt Graham and his staff and The Infusion Center at Erlanger. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contribution be sent to her memory to either the Benevolence Room or the Library at East Ridge Church of Christ.
