He was born Aug. 12, 1925, to George and Clarice Azure, at Duck Mountain, Man. He married Agnes Thiefalt in 1954 in Dunseith.
Survivors: daughters, Donna Belgarde, Alva Gladue, Beverly LaVallie and Rose Davis, all Dunseith; sons, Leslie, Lester, Vincent, Duane and George, all Dunseith, Dennis and Kenneth, both Seattle; 37 grandchildren; 101 great-grandchildren; 76 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Brazeau, Melville, Sask.; sisters, Rose Bishop, of Lethbridge, Alberta, Dorothy Johnson, Calgary, Alberta.
Funeral: Friday, 10 a.m., St. Anthony's Church, rural Dunseith.
Burial: in the church cemetery.
