Mrs. E.J. (Iva Alice) Rogers, 65, resident 29 years of Malaga, died Saturday in a Carlsbad hospital.
Funeral rites will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Carpenter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.
Born at Bonney, Tex., she was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Emery J. Rogers, Malaga; her father, M.L. Lynch, and a son, Howard Rogers, all of Malaga; one daughter, Helen Kirkes of Loving; a brother, Carl Lynch of Fairbanks, Calif.; seven sisters, Jewel Gilliland, Myrtle Fergeson, Blanch Hounsel, Birdie Borris and Maude Cox; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers include W.J. Burkham. W.O. Roberts. R.W. Abney, James Craft, L.W. Pulley and E.W. Parham.
