Pearl Edna Cole Raymer was born 17 Nov 1896 in Virginia and died Oct 1978 Roda, VA

Roda, VA - Devon R. Raymer, 83, died Thursday at his home here after a prolonged illness. He was followed in death by his wife, Mrs. Pearl Edna Cole Raymer one hour later at their home.

Surviving are two sons, Eugen Raymer and D. R. Raymer, Jr; six daughters, Mrs. Irene Johnson, TN, Mrs. Ada Pebley, OH, Mrs. Mozella Jeno, TN; Mrs. Mary James of FL, Miss Virginia Raymer and Mrs. Wilma Rose of Roda; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Raymer was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Preston and Flora Baker Cole.

She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Ethel Baker, Mrs. Hattie Fletcher, Mrs. Aslee Reach and Mrs. Roberta Messer, and Mrs. Lelia Phillips.

Burial for both is in the American Legion Cemetery
