Beryl P. Perry Phelps, 76, of 3065 18th Ave., Marion, died of lymphoma cancer Friday in Mercy Medical Center. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and a Scripture service begins at 7. Burial: Blodgett Cemetery, Central City.

Survivors include a son, Charles A. Perry Sr. of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Mamye English of Anamosa; and two sisters, twin Bethel Wright Keith of Center Point and Lavona Murray of Paris, Iowa.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two brothers, Jay and Ernest; and a sister, Mildred, in childhood.

Born the daughter of Eugene and Mary Hall Baily on May 28, 1915, in rural Central City, she married C. Albert Perry on March 3, 1935, in Jefferson, Iowa. He died Feb. 18, 1943. On June 14, 1947, in Galena, Ill., she married Clifford L. Phelps. He died Oct. 4, 1987. Beryl worked as office manager for several area businesses, retiring from Valenta Plumbing in 1985. She was a member of First Christian Church, Center Point.
