C. J. Wolfe, 78, of near Newburg, died yesterday afternoon at his home following complications. Mr. Wolfe was born near Newburg July 12, 1858, the son of Peter and Louisa Sidwell Wolfe. He had been married twice. His first wife was Alberta Glenn, who died in 1923. His second wife, Ida Keener, survives. The following sons and daughters also survive; Mrs. Lulu Moore, Mrs. Jessie Gordon, Mrs. Georgia Pyles and Harry and Dorothy, all of Tunnelton; Mrs. Mary Trock and Mrs. Ethel Bailey, both of Morgantown, and Mrs. Rachel Fleeshem, of Massachusetts. Brothers surviving are Ebb and Jake of Newburg, and Link of Tunnleton; and one sister, Mrs. Ida Coffman of Marquess. Interment was in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
