Lillian was born March 21, 1925 in Groveton, Texas to Russell Severe Moren and Winnie Lancaster-Moren and entered into eternal rest on February 25, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. Lillian graduated at the age of seventeen as Valedictorian of her graduating class. She was a descendant of Martin Palmer, one of the original signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Conroe, where she showered her Sunday School Class, the ushers and all around her with her sense of humor, her love and her old fashioned tea cakes. She loved birds, flowers, crosswords, golf, making chicken and dumplings for Family Promise, fishing and the big horn sheep and wild turkeys of Glen Eyrie in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her great-grandsons received a gift from her on Great Grandsons Day" in June, a holiday she created just for them. She is safe in the love of Jesus and she lives on in all of us who had the chance and the honor to know her.
