MORAN- Evelyn 'Penny' Collinsworth, 81, of Moran, Texas died Friday, December 30, 2005 in an Abilene hospital.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2006 at the Johnson Cemetery in Moran. Rev. Kay Reed officiating. Services were under the direction of Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home of Moran.
Penny was born on February 29, 1924 in Groveton, Texas. She married John R. Collinsworth. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Moran. She was a secretary for the Adkins Company for many years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Collinsworth; two brothers, Joe David Moren and J.W.. Moren; and also two sisters, Maycel Owens and Joy Nell Conner.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Collinsworth of Moran; three nieces; and five nephews.
