Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Humphries Bradley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Henry Blount officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Bradley, age 73, of Ball, surrounded by family and friends, returned to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Mrs. Bradley of Tioga, was born and raised in Belledeau, Louisiana and raised her family in Kentucky. A homemaker, Mrs. Bradley was a fervent lover of animals and her greatest joys were caring for animals and gardening until her sight diminished in the past few years.

Mrs. Bradley is preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Bradley; parents, Hartman Humphries and Louella Smith Humphries; two brothers, Lavelle "Buck" Humphries and Ernest Humphries; one sister, Elaine Humphries Kyle.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Jerry Bradley and wife Marion of Warner Robins, Georgia, Patrick Bradley and wife Cindy of Villa Rica, Georgia; one brother, Odis Humphries and wife Deanna of Tioga; three sisters, Bernice Griffin and husband Donald of Tioga, Brenda Robertson and husband Roland of Baker, Mae Humphries of Tioga; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews and her faithful furry companions, Zena, Midnight and Woodsey.
