NAMPA — Mrs. Bertha Ann Harney, 73, of Nampa, route 6, a resident of Canyon county since 1932, died Monday in her home.
Mrs. Harney was born Feb. 20, 1880, in Iowa. She was married in June, 1905, at Cheyenne, Okla., to Henry C. Harney and the couple moved to Parma from Oklahoma. Mr. Harney died in 1938 and she had lived in Nampa for the last eight years.
She was an active member of the First Church of God in Nampa.
Surviving are one son, Doyle Harney of Kuna; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Hill of Caldwell and Mrs. Floyd Boal and Mrs. John Dillon, both of Nampa; three brothers, O. L. Piper of Siloam Springs, Ark., D. E. Piper of Eldorado, Kan., and Claude V. Piper of Bell, Cal.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Hart of Leddy, Okla., and 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at the First Church of God Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Paul Beresford will officiate and interment will be at Kohlerlawn under direction of Edmunds chapel.

NAMPA — Mrs. Bertha Ann Harney, 73, of Nampa, route 6, a resident of Canyon county since 1932, died Monday in her home.
Mrs. Harney was born Feb. 20, 1880, in Iowa. She was married in June, 1905, at Cheyenne, Okla., to Henry C. Harney and the couple moved to Parma from Oklahoma. Mr. Harney died in 1938 and she had lived in Nampa for the last eight years.
