Fenton Champ Poteet ,A Civil War Veteran Served in The 29th Texas Cavalry Co.C, ;Son of T.R.H.and Susan Epps Gibbons Poteet. This is my 3rd Grt- Grandfather on my mother Maggie Poteet side of the house.( Bobby W. Smith )his wife was Mary Ann Cheatham Poteet.
