Married Viola Frances Tally 1 May 1937 in Brady, TX.
Served in the Army from Oct. of 1944 to the end of WW II and saw action in the Philipines and Japan. Discharged with the rank of Tech Sgt. IV in July 1946.
Worked as a welder and construction foreman for Empire Southern/Southern Union Gas Co. in Brady, Big Spring, & Monahans, TX. Moved to central TX in 1959, where he was employed as a mechanic for Fred Hall Construction Co until his retirement in 1982. Survived by wife, 2 sons & 1 dau.
