Valley Mills -- A.E. (Buddy) Cox, 81, of Valley Mills died Friday in a Waco hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Valley Mills, the Rev. W.R. Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park.
Mr. Cox was born on Feb. 14, 1909, in Lipan. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Cox; three sons, A.D. Cox of Killeen, Dean Cox of Valley Mills and Terry Cox of Mansfield; four brothers, Andrew Cox of Weatherford, Elton Cox of Fort Worth, Fenis Cox of Waco and Eldridge Cox of San Angelo; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cox's body may be viewed at the First Baptist Church in Valley Mills beginning at 11 a.m. Monday.
