Husband of Ethel Tant- no memorial found for her

'Uncle' Virgil lived in Miami, Florida during the 1950s and owned a 'drug' store and soda fountain after retiring as a Fire Chief. His son, Edward, was about 18, drove his younger cousins around Miami teaching some of the facts of street life. As pre-teens, Virgil let Bob and Bud help with the soda fountain...where we made ourselves more sodas and milkshakes than for customers. "Oh mein papa" was a popular song on the juke box, and one day Virgil got so sick of it, he opened the jukebox and hurled the record out the door...pretty funny to us kids.

Virgil had an uncle (our grand-uncle) living in Hialeah, Florida who was also a retired Fire Chief.
