Bernice "Bunny" Costilow, 74, and a resident of North Carrollton passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 1 until 2:45pm at Lee Funeral Home in Winona with funeral services to follow at 3pm from the chapel of Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton with Reverend Lanny Haley and Reverend Gary Bunch officiating the services. Lee Funeral Home in Winona is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Costilow was born in Americus, Georgia to the late Edgar and Tensie Bunch. She was a member of the Carrollton Baptist Church along with the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Confereracy. Ms. Costilow worked for many years with the Carroll County Clinic and then the Region 6 Community Mental Center (Life Help) in Greenwood, where she retired. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and X-ray Technician.
Ms. Costilow is survived by son, Mitchell Costilow (Angie) of North Carrollton; grandson, Hogan Costilow; niece, Sharon Ellis (Mike); nephew, Mike Jordan (Aimee); great-nephew, Cam Ellis; great-niece, Bunnie Jordan, all of Georgia; step-children, Millard Costilow, Jr. and Felix Costilow.
