John P. Bolles died last Sunday morning. He had been in poor health all summer, and though able to he around his farm most of the time, he could not do any work. He had been unable to get out for about two weeks previous to his death. Mr. Bolles was born in 1828 on the farm in which he died. He spent several winters in Connecticut when a young man, but aside from this he had lived in Livonia all his life. Mr. Bolles was a straight forward, honest man and a food citizen. The funeral was held from the house Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Mr. Cole officiating The burial was at Mt. Pleasant.
