Thomas G. Lytle passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011.
Born and raised in Chattanooga, TN; son of George and Kathryn Lytle; brother to Raymond, Richard and Geraldine Lytle.
Former WW II Solider; husband to Mary Lytle; father of Katherine Roark, Elizabeth Chandler and Thomas Lytle Jr; grandfather to Brooke Chandler; Tim, Caleb and Daniel Roark; Conner, Ryan and Garret Lytle.
He lived the last part of his life in the metro area of Washington D.C.; first in Cheverly, MD, and then Springfield VA, where he stayed until his death.
Being a lifelong Christian, Thomas G. Lytle funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011, at noon in the McEwen Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating.
Visitations will be between 11 a.m. and noon in the family room adjoining the McEwen Chapel.
Following the service, a full military service by the U.S. Army will be held in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Thomas loved his wife, Mary and was a wonderful provider for his family. His life; as was his wifes was long and full, they were a memorable pair.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
