He is survived by his second wife, Julia Mae Ertman Newport Lytle; one daughter; three sons; two grandsons; and brothers, Thomas and Richard Lytle.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. EST today, November 18, 2005, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

MONTGOMERY, AL - The Rev. Raymond Lytle, 86, died November 13, 2005, in Montgomery, AL.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana Robert Lytle.
He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II, working for the Pentagon and in government civil service.
After retirement, he served in the Baltimore-Washington Conference as a pastor of the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in Baltimore, MD; St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in Hagerstown, MD and Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Cearfoss, MD retiring from the ministry in 2000.
He is survived by his second wife, Julia Mae Ertman Lytle; four children from his first marriage, Jimmy Lytle of Tuscon, AZ, George Lytle of Taiwan, David Lytle of Washington, DC, and Nancy Jean Lytle of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service was held in Montgomery, AL on November 18, 2005.
Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
