In April 2014 the Oregon state list of unclaimed cremains indicated his ashes had not been taken after his death and were still available at the Oregon State Hospital to be claimed by anyone who is related. At least by April 2016 his name was no longer on the Oregon list of unclaimed cremains. He has a marker in the IOOF Cemetery in Dayton, Yamhill County, Oregon. this marker has been there for decades. (No specific interment date is available).

Kenneth was born in Oregon in 1907 to Othniel "Niel" Addison and Nora Morgareidge. His father was a farmer who later worked for the railroad. During the censuses of 1910 & 1920 he was living with his parents and siblings in Dayton, Yamhill County, Oregon. Everyone in the family was born in Oregon - his father in 1877 and his mother in 1882. His siblings included Venita E. (born in 1904), Lawrence E. (1912), Ruth Naomi (1915) and Lyle Charles (1919). His sister Ruth died in 1929. His parents divorced before 1930. His mother married Roy Edwards in 1934 and died of a heart attack in 1942.

During the census of 1930 Kenneth was 22 and living with his uncle and aunt (the sister of his father) in Yamhill County where he worked as a farm laborer, probably on his uncle's farm. After 1935 he moved from Yamhill County to nearby Washington County, Oregon where he was working as a farm hand at the time of the 1940 census. In Sept. 24, 1942 Kenneth married Della Evelyn Maddox - both were of Yamhill County at that time. She was born in Oklahoma in 1922.

In 1962 he was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Kenneth entered the Oregon State Penitentiary. He died there of heart failure in 1965. His father died in 1960 in Shasta County California. Brother Lawrence died in 1979. His sister Venita Fileds died in 1982. She is buried at the IOOF cemetery in Dayton and may have been the one to have received Kenneth's ashes. His wife, Della, died in 1993 and is buried in Dallas, Oregon with her mother. Kenneth's brother Lyle died in 2010.
