Beloved husband of Bernice Groenewold nee Vander Muil. Devoted father of Pete (Lynn) Groenewold, Joanne (Jim) Olthoff, Frank "Larry" (Laurie) Groenewold, and Karen (Ken) Little. Proud grandfather of ten; great grandfather of four. Preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.
Visitation Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 2:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN 46311. Funeral service Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Village Church (14849 - 93rd Ave. Dyer, IN 46311). Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL.
