Funeral services for Billy McNemar, 62 of Columbia were held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jim Goodman officiating. Interment followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
Billy W. McNemar was born on June 10, 1944 in Hollandale, MS to the union of the late William Winton and Evelyn Snyder McNemar. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Julius McNemar, Gene McNemar, Ray McNemar, Kenny McNemar, Darrell McNemar and his sister: Geneva Latham. Billy was a veteran of the United State Army having served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son and his wife: Patrick and Terrie McNemar of Columbia; his daughter and her husband: Sissy and Wade Collins of Sterlington; his sister and her husband: Marcelle and Charles Neal of Hiawassee, GA, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
