Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron for Robert L. GAGNON, 52, R.R. 1, Silver Lake, who took his own life by hanging at 6 a.m. Thursday at his home. The Rev. Fred LANDOLT will officiate and burial will be in the Silver Creek cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today and on Saturday until time of service. He was born Jan. 8, 1925 in Miami county to Walter and Mable ECKMAN GAGNON and had lived in the Silver Lake community for 16 years, moving there from Laketon. He was married Nov. 27, 1949 in Ijamsville, Ind., to Betty HOLLENBACK. He was employed by the General Tire and Rubber company, Wabash. He was a World War II veteran. Surviving are the wife; a daughter, Diane [GAGNON], at home; a son, Gary [GAGNON], R.R. 2, Akron; a grandson, a sister, Mrs. David (Marilyn) JOHNS, Fort Wayne. A daughter, a brother and a sister preceded in death.
