She was the wife of John Lesniak and the daughter of William C. and Dorothy (Carr) Durfee, she received her education in the St. Johnsbury, Vermont School system.
She worked for many years as a waitress at the Village Inn in Dracut, and the Princeton Lounge in Chelmsford, and as a sales clerk at Calverts of Tewksbury.
For Madeline it was all about family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, going camping, and hosting Sunday dinners at her home.
She is survived by four sons, John A. Lesniak, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, William C. Lesniak and his wife, Cheryl, Henry Michael Lesniak and his wife, Linda, and Mark Lesniak and his wife, Jeanne; a son-in-law, Donald A. Auger; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and a very dear friend, Rita Lacourse.
She was also the mother of the late Dorothy Joan Auger, and grandmother of the late Scot A. Lesniak, and was predeceased by three sisters and six brothers.
