William, 88, of Lansing, the son of Walter J. & Carrie Belle (Sutliff) Cross, passed away Monday, in Lansing. Don served in and was honorably discharged from the US Navy during World War II.
He retired from W.R. Grace. He will be truly missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph William Cross and a great grand daughter, Riley Mund.
Surviving are his 2 sons: Richard (Ann) Cross of Sault Ste Marie & David (Paula) Cross of Lansing, 2 daughters: Judy (Robert) Brennan of Fl & Lori (Ernest) Wilson of Morrice, a daughter in law, Marilyn Moore of Lansing, 11 grand children, 17 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: George (Trudy) Cross & Albert Cross, a sister, Iva Foster and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were Friday at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel with Pastor Lillian Gray officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors provided by the DeWitt VFW #671. Pallbearers were Robert Cross, Lee Mund, Michael Cross, Andrew Wilson, Ernest Wilson & Daniel Edwards.
