CROSS, Henry "George", age 90 of Grand Blanc/Saint Helen, died Monday, January 12, 2015. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 19, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

George was born June 18, 1924 in Chapin the son of Walter and Carrie Belle (Sutliff) Cross. He married Gertrude "Trudy" Carl February 15, 1942 in Flint. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. George retired in 1983 from AC Spark Plug. He was a member of the American Legion. He also was a member and committeeman of U.A.W. Local 651.

Surviving are: his wife of 72 years, Trudy; 5 children, Kathy Mitchell, Jim and wife Ann Cross, Cindi and husband Gary Gronau, Sandy and husband Bob Stevens, and Peggy and husband Bill Trigger; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother, Albert Cross; sister, Iva Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
