She was a member of the LDS Church. She worked for the IRS and retired from DDO in 1993,then worked at Iomega. She loved the Jazz, bingo, puzzles, and being with family and friends.
Surviving are her children Lorraine (Rockie) Kay, Hooper; LaNae (Frank) White, Roy; Jacki Payne, Roy; Jason (Laurie) Payne, Layton; six granchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also one brother, Larry (Delores) Johnson, North Ogden; three sisters, Jean Isaak, Idaho; Louis (Neil) Schmidtt, Washington; Bennie (Robert) Asson, Nevada.
Whe was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings Edward Johnson, Pat Gutwien, and Vern Johnson.
Carolyn's family honored her wishes of cremation. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Monte Vista Ward Building, in Roy. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
