Graveside services wil be 2 PM Wednesday in Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia with Rev. John Kinnamon officiating. Visitation is 12:30-1:30 PM Wednesday at Ward Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Reggie Poteat, Frankie Green, Mitchell Hales, Bundy Hales, Kenneth Hales and Rick Whitehurst.
--Mrs. King was a native of Cleveland Co., NC, daughter of the late General Lee Miller and Lula Crunkleton Miller. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clemon F. King; sons, Larry E. King, James L. King. She retired from Burlington Industries.
--Survivors include daughter, Billie K. Ward of Gastonia; sisters, Mary Griffin of Charlotte, Francis Pruitte of Asheville, Lula Mae Poteat of Gastonia; brothers, Clarence Miller of Gastonia, Lloyd Miller of Gastonia; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild.
