Mrs. J. H. McCormick Sr., 86, wife of the late J. H. McCormick and lifelong resident of Brooklet died last Friday night in the Bulloch County Hospital.
Survivors are three daughters: Mrs. S. T. Waters, Mrs. Hamp Smith, both of Brooklet, and Mrs. Leo Warren, Pulaski; three sons, Dan McCormick, Statesboro, John and Jim McCormick, both of Brooklet; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. last Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Brooklet, conducted by Rev. Kent Gillenwater and Elder W. A. Crumpton. Burial was in the Brooklet Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
