Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sequel N. McCormick of Brooklet; five daughters, Mrs. Gail M. Paulk of Guyton, Mrs. Joan M. Kessler of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Beverly M. Dixon of Baxley, Mrs. Jimmie Lee M. Speir of Waynesboro and Mrs. Saundra M. Burch of Eastman; a son, John D. McCormick of Brooklet; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Waters and Mrs. Ethel Smith, both of Brooklet, and Mrs. Susie Warren of Metter; and 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brooklet Primitive Baptist Church, with burial in Brooklet City Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
