Eva R. LANDIS, 88, Rt. 1, Akron (Rock Lake area), died at 10:58 a.m. Friday at Wabash County Hospital, where she was admitted Thursday evening. She was born June 9, 1902 in Fulton County to Ancil and Margaret McINTIRE BRYANT. She lived in the Rock Lake area for 68 years and in Fulton County all her life. On Sept. 17, 1921 in Rochester she married Theodore R. LANDIS, who died Oct. 30, 1971. She had attended the Possum Hollow School, north of Athens, and attended the Disko United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Ann) FLOOR, Akron, and Mrs. Bobbie (Esther May) KIRK, Roann; a son, Charles [LANDIS], Peru; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were eleven brothers and sisters. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Lowell BURRUS officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the church or other charity.
