Kyle W. Torgersen, age 65, died May 19, 1991, at his home in Salina.

He was born December 6, 1925, in Monroe, a son of Elmer Levi and Leona Winget Torgersen. He married Shirley Kunz June 5, 1947, in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from Salina City, where he was employed as water superintendent.

Survived by: His wife, Salina; children, Mrs. Steven (Shirley Ann) Colby, Sigurd; Mrs. Mike (Bonnie Kay) Willden, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Talmage (Kyleen) Moosman, Bicknell; Mrs. Delmer (Laurie Jo) Eckersley, Tampa, Florida; Kevin E. Torgersen, Aurora; Donavon K. Torgersen, Lost Creek; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Milen Torgersen, Aurora; Thad M. Torgersen, Cedar City; Alden Torgersen, Lost Creek; Mrs. Bud (Louise) Larsen, Salina; Mrs. Don (Lois) Brown, West Jordan. Preceded in death by a brother, Neldo.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, 1991, 1 p.m., in the Salina 3rd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, in Salina, Wednesay evening, 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial, with military honors accorded by the Salina American Legion Post #36, will be in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery.
