Mrs. Edward Langenfeld of New Holstein died Wednesday at St. Nicholas hospital, Sheboygan. She was the wife of Edward Langenfeld of the Associated Fur Farms, and had been at the hospital since Nov. 8. She was 39 years old.
Mrs. Langenfeld was in apparent good health until the onset of the attack which proved fatal.

She had entertained friends on Monday evening of last week. The next day she complained a severe headache. At the hospital her illness was diagnosed as a brain hemorrhage. She revived and appeared to be making a satisfactory recovery until Wednesday when she suffered a relapse which proved fatal.

Funeral services will be at the Holy Rosary church in New Holstein. The Rev. Nicholas Langenfeld, instructor at Fordham University, New York city, a brother-in-law of the deceased, will officiate at the solemn requiem Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Langenfeld was a member of the Christian Mothers society of Holy Rosary church and of the Catholic Information club.

Mrs. Langenfeld, nee Edith Bell, was born Dec. 16, 1909, in Chilton, daughter of Nicholas and Albertena Ester Bell. She received her education at St. Mary’s parochial school here and at Chilton High school of which she was a graduate.

Her marriage to Mr. Langenfeld took place here June 26, 1934. The young couple made their home in New Holstein since.

Survivors include her husband, five children, Barbara, 15, John, 12, Thomas, 8, Mary 3 and Lois, 1; her mother, Mrs. Bell, who was making her home with the Langenfelds, and two sisters, Mrs. C. W. (Esther) McClaine, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Depies, New Holstein.
