James L. Stewart
James L. Stewart of 49 Parker Avenue, North died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home. Born in Spring Mill, PA he had lived in Meriden for the past 27 years.
He was employed as a foreman of Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, North Haven for the past 10 years, Prior to that he has been employed for 16 years at New Departure Division, General Motors.
He was a member of the Compass Lodge AF and AM of Wallingford.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Lucille (McDermott) Stewart, he is survived by his mother Mrs. Bertha Stewart of Meriden, a daughter, Mrs. James Towle of Bad Kissingen, Germany; a stepson Michael Hart of Springfield, VA; two grandchildren, a brother Dr. John B. Stewart of Meriden, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home of John J. Ferry and Sons, 88 East Main Street with the Rev. Allan House O'Neil, rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove.

STEWART James L. of 49 Parker Avenue North, died Tuesday. Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the John J, Ferry and Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, where friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.. Burial in Walnut Grove.

Funeral services for James L. Stewart of 49 Park Avenue North were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at the John J. Ferry and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Allan House O'Neil of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiated and burial was in Walnut Grove.
Pallbearers were Richard Cross, George Sullivan, Willian Case, Stephen Cretella, Conrad Rell and Joseph Buijnarowski.
