Shirley Ashe Clark, age 69, of Burnette Street, Canton, NC was born in Haywood County on Oct. 17, 1941 and passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Haywood Regional Center.
She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Claude and Ruby Gant Ashe. She was also preceded in death by a brother and a niece. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Shirley loved spending time outdoors. When she was able, she enjoyed camping and fishing at Lake Hartwell. She was also a painter.
Burial will follow at Center Pigeon Baptist Church Cemetery.
