FRANCIS N. FOGG
Francis N. Fogg, of 221 Columbus Avenue, died unexpectedly at the Meriden Memorial Hospital early this morning.
Born in Meriden June 27, 1899, Mr. Fogg was the son of the late Willis E. and Ellen Rodgers Fogg and has been a life long resident here. He was employed for 31 years as assistant chief inspector at New Departure Division of General Motors retiring 12 years ago. Since that time he had been employed with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in North Haven.
He was a member of South Meriden Trinity Methodist Church, a member and past Master of Center Lodge 97 AF and AM, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rites Bodies of New Haven and Bridgeport. He was also a member of Aerie 720, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret McDermott Fogg, a son Kenneth W. Fogg; two grandsons, Gregory and Jeffrey Fogg, a brother WIllis W. Fogg and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Flatow Home, 48 Cook Avenue. The Rev. Earl S. McCary, of South Meriden Trinity Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Walnut Grove.
