Kenneth Wayne Fogg, 87, beloved husband of 59 years of Adele Eichenberger Fogg, of Meriden, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, after a brief illness.

He was born in Meriden on Oct. 19, 1925, son of the late Francis and Margaret McDermott Fogg and was a lifelong Meriden resident.
Kenneth graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1950 and received his master's degree in education from Central Connecticut State College.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr. Fogg was a mathematics teacher at Goodwin Tech in New Britain and was director at Hartford State Technical College.
In 1966 he was appointed the first president of Waterbury State Technical College, serving until his retirement in 1979.
He also served as a board member for the Meriden Public Works Dept. and had been treasurer, and a vestry member at All Saints Episcopal Church.

In addition to his wife Adele, he is survived by his sons, Gregory J. Fogg and his wife, Donann, of Plainfield, Jeffrey L. Fogg, of Meriden; and his brother in-law, Hans Eichenberger and his wife, Erika, of Geneva, Switzerland.
He was predeceased by his daughter in-law, Jane Fogg.

Interment was in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.
Arrangements in care of Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, Meriden.
