Graveside services have been scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, April 30, in Resthaven Memorial Park with Don Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born March 27, 1937 in Lubbock.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sonny Young.
He is survived by his son, James D. Young Jr., of Clovis, Calif; a daughter, Trena Aly, of Caldwell; two sisters, Cleva Lusk and Kay Doss; four granchildren and one great-grandchild.
