Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
at Atkinson Congregational United Church
of Christ, where she was a member. The Rev.
Mike McBride will officiate. Burial will
be in Liberty Cemetery, Atkinson.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at
Vandemore Funeral Home, Atkinson. Memorials
may be made to the church or the Atkinson
Rescue Squad.
The former Elizabeth Bowles was born
July 16, 1904, in Hampton, the daughter
of Albert E. and Lucy Henry Bowles.
She married Harold Reiling Nov. 5, 1924,
in Port Byron.
Elizabeth had been a schoolteacher in the
rural schools in Port Byron. She and her
husband, Harold, farmed in the Port Byron
and Atkinson areas for many years.
She was a member of Daughters of Ruth
Circle of the church. She loved music,
embroidering, crocheting and quilting.
